Ronald A. C. (Ron) Butler serves as the Pastor of Manna Church North Site. Having been a professional counselor in the Fayetteville area for 18 years, Ron provides pastoral care including counseling for spiritual growth/personal ministry identification as well as for issue resolution, pre-marital & marriage counseling, funerals, and water baptisms. In 2006, he joined the staff of Manna Church from the Fayetteville Family Life Center where he had served since 2003. As a licensed counselor he has worked as clinical director of an adolescent treatment center and founded Apogee Counseling services, a private practice that he began with his wife, Jeanne. Ron has extensive work in the mental health field since 1986 and has specialized in work with children, adolescents, and families. Additionally, he has served churches in various capacities including staff and lay leadership positions. He and Jeanne, to whom he has been married for 20 years, continue to believe strongly in the powerful relational role of small groups. Ron, also a professor for Grace College of Divinity, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education from Emmanuel College (1984), a Master of Social Work from East Carolina University (1987), and completed Grace College of Divinity's School of Worship in the spring of 2006. Ron and Jeanne are the proud parents of one daughter (18) and one son (11).
