Michael Fletcher - Senior Pastor

Michael Fletcher has served as Senior Pastor of Manna Church of Fayetteville,N.C., for 22 years. Beginning in 1985 with 350 members, the church has grown to approximately 4,500 members. Internationally, Manna has planted or partnered to plant nearly 64 churches in the United States, Romania, Venezuela, England, and Sri Lanka. Michael has also served on the leadership team of Grace Churches International since its inception and in 2002 became its leader. Under his leadership, GCI has grown from 27 to 239
churches worldwide, reaching into 44 nations.

Traveling extensively throughout the country and around the world, he helps local churches and networks formulate strategies for growth and greater impact on the world for the kingdom of God. He is a highly sought-after speaker in both local church and international conference settings.

Michael has written three books, Overcoming Barriers to Growth ,Building Successful Relationships and How to Get Promoted. He also co-authored a book with Pastor Larry Jackson entitled Beyond Reconciliation, which led to a co-featured presentation with the pastor at the 1997 National Pastors’ Promise Keepers Conference for their work on Racial Reconciliation. Michael has appeared in several periodicals, including “New Man,” “Charisma,” and “Ministries Today.” These resources have been able to touch countless ministries and families around the world. Serving as Prayer Network Coordinator for the United Prayer Track of AD 2000, Michael was responsible for attempting to recruit 10 churches to pray for each of the 1,739 unreached people groups in the world. Through his efforts,more than 27,000 churches and seven million intercessors worldwide were recruited.

With a heart to train young people, he teaches courses on theology, church life, and church growth at Grace College of Divinity. He hosts a daily radio program that focuses on family-related issues that reaches more than a quarter of the state of North Carolina.In 2004, he founded RUSH (Reaching Unreached Student Harvest) Campus Ministries.

Michael and his wife, Laura, live in Fayetteville with five of their eight children.The couple reaches out to thousands through their seminars; they are recognized nationally and internationally as gifted parents and speakers. With eight “world changers,” they speak from experience. In their leisure time, Michael and Laura enjoy endurance sports and regularly compete in races of varying distances including marathons and triathlons.
